Luke 10:38-42 Tells us of two sisters named Mary and Martha, and of their interactions with Jesus.
"Sometimes" is a short drama representing the internal struggles we sometimes have where we battle with serving or resting with/in Jesus. The music is a remix of Audrey Assad's "Lament" by @BeTheSymbol, and the spoken word was written by @Alex.GotayJr. - The Symbol - All is Love

Thought I would share here with you all some photos from the Engagement photoshoot, my fiance Janet and I did a while back with a good friend over at Scenescerity Images.
I have to say this process preparing for marriage has been a big mixture of stress, excitement, and a huge opportunity for my future wife and I to grow closer. We have a great support of family members, friends, and our church community that are assisting us in our union. As we pray and learn more of the Covenant we are to make before one another and God, we are over joyed in how this one union is bringing together a larger community. It isn't easy and we bump heads at times, but we only pray and hope that we will truly live this Vocation in the Sacrament of Marriage as God intends it in reflecting his own love in this world for everyone around us. Please pray for us that we may truly continue to lead each other to holiness in the bond of perfection in God. Amen - The Symbol - All is Love Last week on 1-20-17, I spoke about a vision for what The Encounter will represent for us in the world (especially in New York City) in comparison to the Superhero Green Lantern. What are you doing with the power that you have been given?....

- All is Love Someone sent me an instagram message with this question and I answered it for them there... Thought I should also do the same here in a video response for all of you.
- The Symbol - All is Love Some people may say I am late with this, but I have been wanting to write here something about the New Year and my thoughts on it.... I have to say that it has much to do with growth.... Personal growth artistically, mentally, spiritually, and in my life of ministry.... Growth in my family even.
This year is about finishing projects I have started before, and completing missions that have been given to me. Today on my way to the office I walked pass this and told I had to take a picture... The above image is one of the prayer garden at the parish by my office. As I entered the building and saw it, immediately Tupac Shakur's poem "The Rose That Grew From The Concrete" came to mind.... And in many ways, I think that is just the perfect Symbol for the year.... The poem is as follows... "Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk with out having feet. Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared." May your lives and mine reflect that of this rose in these modern times, with all of the struggles that come with it. God bless in 2017. - The Symbol - All is Love |
