Lately I have been led more and more to simply make my music about my life experiences and how the Lord intervenes and guided through out it all. Here is a simple life account with an opportunity to forgive.

 In the history of the church, the Saints have evangelized and met people where they are at. Out to the market place and in the streets, all in the places where people went to go through their daily life activities is exactly where people met the face of Christ in the Saints.
When people look at a place like New York City they think Times Square and places of the like, however as a local you would know the center of culture are in the places like Bodegas and Barbershops. Most people think the top New York art is Broadway and Radio City music hall, but rather it is the small places like the Bowery Cafe and the Nuyorican that really speaks the art of the people..... My question is, jow are we being like Christ if we are not bringing him into these places? Last week in a unique way I was able to encounter people on the streets as we did some street evangelization. Young men sitting in front of the bodega playing cards and dominoes ales for prayer, and young ladies expressed their appreciation for the message of chaste love. Conversations started in a way most would have never seen or heard otherwise. I write this post as a reflection of my own life and my next steps to take forward in ministry... And I leave you with this last quote from scripture which I have seen before my eyes as I have worked to evangelize lives one by one in this culture. "Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” - Matthew 9:37-38 Who will do the labor? - The Symbol - All is Love |
