Another Throwback video from "I am More" at Lehman College back in 2012.  By definition Transcendence is "existence or experience beyond the normal or physical level.".. What does that mean for those living in a low income inner city community like the Bronx?

It was a blessing presenting to teachers, priest, brothers, and all faculty at Cardinal Hayes Catholic High School in the Bronx speaking about education and Youth Ministry.

We got ideas from the Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, St. John Paul II's Letter to Artists, and the document from the Synod of Bishops on "Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment."

After our prayer service and reflection I left faculty with these simple questions to reflect in order to improve education moving forward in their school...
1) Did I/How can I engage the young people?
2) What have I been doing the same?
3) What can I do differently?
4) How can I open up to the creative graces of the Holy Spirit to move education forward?

Two other major questions where
1) Do we have preconceived ideas about our young people?
2) How can we utilize, and engage with the culture these young people are in/from?

I personally never would have thought I would be in such a position as someone who was simply written off for years as nothing but a "rapper" who is now by the grace of God in positions to lead and teach so many others.

Pray for me, and for these educators as we hope to form this next generation to walk the right path with God. Amen.
