Both on the local level, and traveling around nationally it has been realized that manhood is a major issue in our society. From broken homes, to lost fathers, and with the bad representations on men in the media, the figure of masculinity has been broken.
Looking at all of this, we have realized how important it is to surround yourself with good men from different backgrounds who can give you different perspectives, and help to build you up; keeping you strong.
This section of BeTheSymbol is to highlight other brothers who are not only doing amazing work, but also feed me, help me and build me up from day to day - week to week, and in life in general... More coming soon.

This video was a collaboration between a good friend of mine(who I consider a brother) Edwin(Earthly Lynx) and myself, about "Brotherhood". The other clips were taken with some of the guys we play basketball with on Sunday nights at the church.
Brotherhood is the relationship between brothers. It is a word that invokes the relationship dynamic between friends, brothers, people whom we interact and take on a bigger role in our lives as men. This is something that is displayed every weekend, when we play ball. And through this sport and time, we can continue to build up one another on the court and in faith. "Iron Sharpens Iron" - Proverbs 27:17. Just for reference, the quote that was mentioned in the video near the end is from one of the great saints of the Catholic Church's history, St. Augustine.
