Cartoon World

As I have said many times before, the beginning of my journey towards God includes Cartoons and Superheroes. On the Golden EP for example there is a song entitled "The Animation", and when I did #TheDedication mixtape we did the "Animated Destiny" short documentary about my life done by my brother Anthony Dew.

To the left of these words you see pictures of cartoons I drew one day at work for the kids in the school, which they in turn colored and made their own. That very same day I was approached by one 5th grader I did not know as he said "You really shouldn't be working here; you should be an animator."

When I was in Germany for the World Youth Parliament plenary session I was told many times by people who didn't speak English very well "You have very good animation" when they were referring to the times I hosted, Emceed, and performed.

I know these all seem like random scattered thoughts and stories but they are all connected and summed up in this set of lyrical lines from "Divine Intervention" off of the Golden EP where I say...
"I'm not an artist - I'm art; my heart is the Father's; now my flesh is looking different like I live in tattoo parlors. Divine Intervention. 'Bout to rev up this engine. Up high is the King who switched place with this peasant. Animation means to have life, read definition. Cartoon World's forever staying in the Father's perception."

Father continue to use me as one who brings your divine life into all that I am and do. And may we all pray that all of this culture will have the breathe of life blown into our hearts to be completely animated in his will. Amen.
